Working birthdays can make you gloomy, but that's not the case for actor Ssharad Malhotra, who is seen in title role of historical TV show "Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap".
The actor celebrated his birthday in 'Maharana' style with his best friend Chetak, a horse, by his side.
The actor, who turned 32 Friday, celebrated his birthday in advance Thursday.
Ssharad was presented with a photo-cake, adorned by his look in the Sony Entertainment Television show, as well as his favourite mascot, Chetak.
"I had no idea that this surprise celebration was being planned for me on my birthday. I really liked the concept of bringing a photo-cake and the idea behind it of putting a picture of me along with my favourite Chetak," he said in a statement.
Ssharad not only cut the cake in the on-screen Chetak's presence, but fed him a piece of cake as well.
The actor also promised his fans to be frequent on TV instead of taking a sabbatical.
"My fans always shower their love and blessings on me and on their demand, I'm resolving to try and not take a break after my one done show as they wish to see me on television always," he added.
