Aam Aadmi Party supporters Tuesday pelted stones at police officials here, police said.

According to officials, a constable was hurt and taken to a nearby hospital.

"They (the AAP) are pelting stones intermittently. We will take legal action as required," Joint Commissioner of Police Mukesh Kumar Meena told IANS.

A journalist, Nagendra Nath Mishra, who tried entering the protest site was allegedly beaten up by police.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet members are holding a sit-in in the heart of Delhi to demand that Delhi Police is brought under their control and action taken against five police officials.
