Strict action will be taken against those who misbehave with women, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Monday.
"The recent stand of the government regarding those who misbehave with women will reveal what we stand for," he said, after taking the salute at the passing out parade of women constables here.
"No one who misbehave with women, irrespective of their standing in society, will be spared, Tough action has been taken and that is evident from what has happened in Kerala in recent times," he said.
Malayalam superstar Dileep has been arrested over the abduction of an actress. A news anchor of a leading TV channel was jailed after a lady employee alleged he misbehaved with her. A businessman is also in jail following similar accusations.
