Atletico Madrid striker Jackson Martinez has said he will "fight to the end" for the Rojiblancos and ruled out that he could leave the La Liga side next football season.
Speaking to La Sexta channel and Radio Marca on Tuesday, the Colombian international pointed out the support of fans is very positive, and added that he will "fight to the end", reports Efe.
The 29-year-old noted that he does not think about reports of his departure by the end of this season, emphasising that he will stay with the Spanish side as long as Atletico want him.
Martinez scored three goals in 15 games with Atletico, while he explained that he tries to do his duty every game and will gradually adapt to the style of his team, which is doing well.
The Colombian added that he personally has to keep working and trying to do his best to make use of the few opportunities to score goals.
