In order to offer students an opportunity to explore various study options available in Britain, US, Canada and New Zealand, a "Study Abroad Education Fair" will be organised by placement service provider IDP, a release said.

To be held at Le Meridien hotel on Saturday, the fair will have representatives and faculties from 46 leading universities and institutions of the four countries assembling under one roof to help Indian students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad.

"IDP India seeks to provide a platform for students to come and have a face-to-face interaction with the university representatives and get answers to all their queries related to studying abroad," said IDP Country Director Piyush Kumar.

"Applications are open to over 150 leading IDP partner universities and institutions in Britain, US, Canada and New Zealand for 2017 intakes for courses such as Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Art and Design, Mass Communication and many more."

Students can apply to the universities of their choice and get detailed information on scholarships, rankings and visas.

"Our goal is to assist and guide the students and parents with the right advice through all the steps from initial exploratory stage of course and university selection to application submission to arrival on campus", Kumar said.

Students are advised to bring along their educational certificates in original along with photocopies.

Meanwhile, IDP India said that it organised an event for students aspiring to pursue higher education abroad in Gurgaon on Friday and over 200 students attended it.
