Actor Sai Dharam Tej-starrer Telugu action-drama "Subramanyam for Sale" is turning out to be a sleeper hit. The film has already collected over Rs.12.5 crore worldwide in the first five days since its release.
"The film has done exceptionally well, considering it stars Sai Dharam Tej, who is just three films old. By this weekend, the film is expected to break even in all areas," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Produced on a budget of approximately Rs.16 crore by Dil Raju, the film has also fetched a whopping Rs.3.7 crore through satellite rights.
"The producer is going to pocket profits worth Rs.4 crore," Trinath said.
Directed by Harish Shankar, the film also stars Regina Cassandra and Adah Sharma in important roles.
