Sunken Bangladeshi trawler found, 26 still missing

A fishing trawler from Bangladesh that capsized in the Bay of Bengal was found Sunday.

The fishing trawler, FV Bandhan, capsized Friday near St. Martin's Island in Cox's Bazar town after being hit by Singapore-bound merchant vessel Basundhara-8, bdnews24 reported.

Of the 29 fishermen and crew of the trawler, two were rescued while the body of one was pulled from the sea several hours after the mishap.

But as many as 26 others are still unaccounted-for, officials said.

According to officials, rescue teams were continuing their search.
