The national capital experienced a warm Thursday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average. The Met Office has forecast a sunny day ahead.
"The sky will remain mainly clear. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius," said an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8:30 a.m was 44 percent.
The maximum temperature Wednesday was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 24.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
