The national capital experienced a sunny and humid day on Thursday with the maximum temperature settling at 36.9 degrees Celsius, average for the season, the Met office said.
"Generally cloudy sky is likely on Friday," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover 37 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded 28.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the humidity oscillated between 82 and 56 per cent.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 36.1 and 28.5 degrees Celsius, both one notch below the season's, respectively.
