It was a sunny Thursday morning in the capital, with a cool breeze blowing, as the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 25.6 degree Celsius. The Met office has forecast light rain in some parts of the city.
"The skies will remain generally cloudy with rain and thundershower in some parts of the city," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degree Celsius, the official said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 75 percent.
Since the arrival of the monsoon, the city has recorded 762.6 mm of rainfall.
Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 33.7 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year and the minimum temperature was a notch above average at 26.5 degrees Celsius.
