Sai Dharam Tej-starrer Telugu actioner "Supreme" has raked in Rs. 6.75 crore on its first day worldwide.
"Despite the release of Suriya's "24", Sai's "Supreme" managed to shine at the box-office by raking in Rs. 6.75 crore on the first day worldwide. At this rate, the film will enter the profit zone over the weekend," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film worked among the masses for its heady mix of action and comedy.
In the film, Sai played a cabbie, and his role largely appealed to the masses, which in turn really benefited the film commerce-wise.
Also starring Raashi Khanna, Rajendra Prasad, Ravi Kishan and Sai Kumar, the film is produced by Dil Raju.
