Supriya's '...Ram-Leela' character Renuka's favourite lady don

Actress Renuka Shahane says her favourite lady don will always be Dhankor Baa, played by veteran actress Supriya Pathak in the film "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela".

Renuka is set to play a Maharashtrian lady don in the show "Khichdi". She will be seen kidnapping the lead character - Hansa (Supriya) in the upcoming Star Plus show.

Asked about her favourite lady don, Renuka said in a statement: "My favourite lady don will always remain Supriya Pathak from '...Ram-Leela'. To share screen space with her in 'Khichdi' has been an absolute honour. Also because Hansa has been my most favourite character from 'Khichdi' and my role is closely linked to hers in the show. It could't get better than this."

Talking about her experience of working on the show, Renuka said: "I had a blast shooting for the show because I have been a fan of 'Khichdi' since I can remember. The makers have been good friends of mine and when they approached me, I had instantly said yes to the role of a female don which is again something I have never done before."
