A high-level Indian business delegation. including Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu, is to take part in the seventh Horasis Global India meet to be held in Interlaken, Switzerland, on July 5-6, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said on Thursday.
"The meeting is co-hosted by the Swiss canton of Bern and the Confederation of Indian Industry, and is supported by a set of partner organisations, including All India Management Association and Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce," CII said in a statement here.
Besides, political leaders, 300 business and government leaders from Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Britain and the US will participate in the annual Horasis India business meeting.
The corporate leaders from India participating in the meet include Bajaj Auto's Rahul Bajaj, Hero MotoCorp's Sunil Kant Munjal, Tata Communication's Subodh Bhargava, Religare Enterprises' Sunil Godhwani and Wockhardt's Habil Khorakiwala.
Punjab's Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, Swachh Bharat brand ambassador and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shazia Ilmi, South Africa's Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Pravin Gordhan, and European Parliament member Neena Gill will also attend the meet.
Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is slated to deliver a lecture on "How Indian values and karma can help business leaders attain their goals".
