Scottish singer Susan Boyle is planning to record a jazz album.
The 52-year-old has released five albums since she shot to fame on British TV show "Britain's Got Talent" in 2009, and her recordings have mostly featured covers of popular songs and standards.
However, Boyle hopes her next record will feature a totally different style, reports contactmusic.com.
"I'd love to do a jazz album next time. It would be an entire break from what I'm use to doing. It's a challenging area and very specialised. Jazz is something I would really like to be involved in. Watch this space - anything can happen," she said.
