Dissident AAP leader Yogendra Yadav on Wednesday said that Swaraj Samvad was neither a political party nor an NGO, adding that it would have "collective leadership" and would not be "individal" centric.

Clarifying that he and Prashant Bhushan were still a part of the Aam Aadmi Party, Yadav said: "Swaraj Samvad is not a political party or an NGO. We will be under the RTI."

In an apparent reference to AAP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Yadav said "We will have collective leadership -- it will not be about an individual."

Addressing a press conference here, Yadav also said swaraj yatras (tours) would be held across the country through which the message of "alternative politics" would be disseminated.

"We will form a new agenda and work in accordance," he added.

However, Bhushan hinted the movement may transform into a political party saying that that final decision would be taken after the campaign's success would be analysed in a few years' time.

Yadav along with Bhushan had organised a day long national conference -- 'Swaraj Samwad' -- a dialogue on the present and future of alternative politics on Tuesday, said that a steering committee would also be formed. The two founding leaders were sacked from AAP's national executive on March 28. The AAP's political affairs committee is meeting at Kejriwal's residence and will take a call on Yadav and Bhushan's future in the party.

"A steering committee would be formed for Swaraj Abhiyan which would take all decisions in the next six months. It would have 100 members," Yadav said, adding that party member, Anand Kumar would be the national convener and lead it.

Yadav and Bhushan had on Tuesday formed a non-political group named 'Swaraj Abhiyan' to tour the country and establish 'swaraj' (self-rule) in cultural, political, economic and social fields.
