At least 10 militants including six Taliban fighters have been killed in a clash with Islamic State (IS) in Afghanistan's northern Jawzjan province on Monday, police said.
The clash flared up in Tashjawaz area and the dead included four IS militants, reports Xinhua news agency.
Eight more fighters from both sides have been injured, said the official.
This is the second time that fighting erupted between the Taliban and IS in Darzab and Qush Tipa district of Jawzjan province over the past five days.
On Thursday, a clash between Taliban and IS outfit in Qush Tipa district left scores dead and injured.
