Tamil Nadu CM drops minister

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa Saturday dropped Milk and Diary Development Minister V. Moorthy from her cabinet and inducted B.V. Ramanaa in his place.

Governor K. Rosaiah has accepted Jayalalithaa's recommendation of dropping Moorthy from her ministry and the induction of Ramanaa, said a statement issued by Raj Bhavan here.

In May, Jayalalithaa had sacked Ramanaa as the revenue minister.
