Tata Steel to set up eye hospital

Tata Steel Wednesday signed an agreement with Sankara Eye Hospital of Tamil Nadu to set up a 100-bed super specialty eye care hospital in Odisha's Ganjam district.

The hospital, which would come up in Samarjhola village, would be run by Sankara Eye Hospital.

The agreement was signed between Arun Misra, vice president of Tata Steel's Gopalpur project, and S. Visvanathan, trustee and secretary of the Chennai-based hospital.
