Model Gigi Hadid has shared that singer Taylor Swift has started working on her follow-up to the "1989" album.
Hadid made the comments backstage at the New York Fashion Week, where she walked the runway in the Tommy Hilfiger show while Swift watched from the audience, reports ew.com.
"She's obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that," Hadid said.
Since 2006, Swift has released a new record every two years in either October or November. But the "1989" follow will break that string.
Swift debuted the blockbuster record on October 27, 2014, and last month, Scott Borchetta, founder of Swift's label Big Machine, said no new collection was coming this year.
