Taylor Swift's brother joins 'Whaling'

Singer Taylor Swift's younger brother Austin has been roped in to star in upcoming independent comedy film "Whaling".

The film will tell the tale of a brother and sister who reconvene after years apart following the death of their mother, and resulting mission to spread her ashes in a bizarre manner, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"Whaling" will also feature actress Tammin Sursok.

Austin will play a hustler who plays a critical role with the brother-sister on their travels.

Sursok, best known for playing Jenna Marshall on the TV show "Pretty Little Liars", is penning the film with her spouse Sean McEwen, who will direct the project.

Principal photography for the film has commenced in Oklahoma.

Austin already has projects like "I.T." and "Live by Night" in his kitty.
