TCS net up 12 percent in Q3

Global software major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted a net profit of Rs.6,110 crore for third quarter of 2015-16, registering 12.2 percent growth over the same period of last year.

In a regulatory filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the city-based IT major said revenue for Q3 grew 11.7 percent to Rs.27,364 crore under the Indian accounting standard.

Under the International Financial Accounting Standard (IFRS), net income grew six percent to $926 million and revenue 5.5 percent to $4.15 billion for the quarter against last year.
