A 29-year-old man working at an IT company in the Technopark campus jumped to death from the sixth floor of his office building Thursday morning.
A press release issued by UST Global said that it was deeply saddened by the demise of Sreeraj Sashidharan.
"He has been working here for almost three years and was a good performer. Around 9 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Bhavani building this (incident) occurred. The HR along with colleagues rushed him to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival," read the press release.
Speaking to IANS, a police official at the Kazhakootam police station confirmed the incident and added that a probe has begun.
