Tehelka founder-editor Tarun Tejpal, who has been accused of sexual assault, Thursday withdrew his anticipatory bail from the Delhi High Court.
Justice Sunita Gupta Wednesday, declining interim protection to Tejpal against arrest by Goa Police, reserved the order for Nov 29.
Tejpal's lawyer mentioned the matter post lunch before Justice Gupta, saying they want to withdraw the plea and will approach the appropriate court.
Goa Police had opposed his anticipatory bail plea saying he had committed a "very serious and heinous crime".
Tejpal is facing charges of sexually assaulting a junior colleague during a conference organised by the magazine in Goa earlier this month.
