The government of Telangana will formulate an industrial policy with the participation of people, said Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao, noting the policy should be the best to attract national and international investment.

KCR, as Chandrasekhara Rao is popularly known, Friday held a review meeting with Special Chief Secretary Pradeep Chandra and other officials on industrial sector.

A broad-based meeting will be held shortly to finalize the industrial policy, said an official release from the chief minister's office.

KCR also decided to invite industrialists and industry bodies like CII and FICCI for a discussion to formulate the policy.

The chief minister asked officials to identify the deficiencies in provision of infrastructural facilities and address them.

He suggested a single window clearance system through which industrial clearances on various aspects should be made easy. Rules and regulations are to be framed accordingly.

He also mooted a special 'chasing' cell in the chief minister's office to pursue industrial projects.

KCR directed officials to take over the government lands which were allotted for establishing industries in the past but were not used for the purpose.

He also called for identifying lands not useful to agriculture for establishment of industries.

The chief minister said textile parks would be established in Warangal and Sircilla.
