A 21-year-old tenant from Uttarakhand was killed after his landlord and others allegedly pushed him from the fourth floor of a Paying Guest House here, police said on Thursday.
A police officer said the deceased, Ramesh Singh Bisht, lived in U Block of DLF Phase 2.
Bisht and other tenants protested following the non-availability of water and power late on Wednesday night.
Police said the landlord, Satbir Singh, and his two sons along with eight to 10 men reached the spot and allegedly pushed Bisht from the fourth floor of the building.
The victim was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
A case of murder was registered against Satbir Singh and others, who are on the run.
