Savithiri Devi, Kerala-based mother of cricketer S. Sreesanth, who was granted bail by a court in Delhi in the IPL spot fixing scandal, thanked all those who prayed for him.
"Now everything is in the hands of the court and I thank all who prayed for him," Devi said here on hearing the news of her son getting bail.
Sreesanth and his two Rajasthan Royals teammate were arrested by Delhi Police May 16 from Mumbai and were later booked under the provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the IPL spot fixing scandal.
Sreesanth's parents have maintained since his arrest that their son is innocent.
