In a shocking incident in Rajasthan's Barmer district, unidentified assailants beat three persons, including two women, to death and then hung two of the bodies upside down, police said on Tuesday.
The incident, which has created panic in and around the area, occurred near Bariyada village in Sheo police station area late on Monday night, police said.
The three victims were first tied up with ropes, beaten badly and after they died, their bodies desecrated.
"We have filed an FIR against unidentified persons and investigations are going on," a police official said.
