Three people, including two teenaged students, were arrested here for killing a painter after a drunken brawl, police said Saturday.
Puneet, Manav and Rahul were arrested for killing Anwar Ali, a painter living in a rented accommodation in Gurgaon.
"Puneet is a class 11 student while Manav studied in the 12th standard at a private school. Rahul is an auto-rickshaw driver," Deputy Commissioner of Police (west) Sangeeta Rani told reporters.
"All four, along with the victim's brother Afsar Ali, drank liquor Oct 17 night. They started quarrelling over some issue and Anwar was hit by a brick during the brawl," she said.
Anwar, who died on the spot, hailed from Bijnor district in Uttar Pradesh. The accused are from Gurgaon village.
"The three were arrested from a guest house in Gurgaon Friday night. We are grilling them on remand," she added.
