At least three people were killed and 15 others wounded after a suicide car bomber struck a restaurant in Afghan capital of Kabul on Friday, sources said.
"The blast went off near French restaurant Le Jardin, frequented by foreigners in Qala-e-Fatullah Khan locality. The incident took place at around 5.00 p.m.," witness Ahmad Soulaiman told Xinhua.
Some 15 people, including some restaurant patrons, were injured in the blast.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
The militant group launched its annual rebel offensive against security forces in mid-April.
Taliban urges civilians to stay away from official gatherings, military convoys and centres regarded as the legitimate targets.
