Three suspected Al Qaeda militants killed in Yemen

Three suspected Al Qaeda militants were killed in a US drone attack in Yemen's Shabwa province, a military official said on Monday.

"The US attack late on Sunday night destroyed a small pick-up vehicle loaded with weapons and explosives in Khora area," the official told Xinhua news agency.

"The victims were attempting to move weapons which they looted last month," the official said.

A tribal official said "an Al Qaeda car filled with arms was shelled and that caused huge explosions".
