The Tibetan administration-in-exile Monday greeted India on its 66th Republic Day and wished continued peace and prosperity to all.
"Happy Republic Day to all Indian brothers and sisters. Wishing India continued peace and prosperity," Tibetan Prime Minister Lobsang Sangay said in a statement.
He hoisted the Indian national flag at a brief ceremony in the office of the Central Tibetan Administration here.
Sangay thanked the government and people of India for hosting the Tibetan community for the last more than 50 years.
The Tibetan administration is based here in Himachal Pradesh and is not recognised by any country. Over 100,000 Tibetans live in India.
