Tips to flaunt coats in winter

Coats can make or break your winter outfits. Pair the outerwear with the right fashion pieces.

Vipul Amar, managing director, bespoke luxury brand The V Renaissance, shares how to rock the style:

* Leather trench coat: Women can pair it with leggings and boots when untied, or a short dress and heels when tied.

* Fur coat: The bigger the coat, the better. It gels with all black or neutral colours. Keep the rest minimalistic.

* Cape coat: Wear the cape over a short dress or leggings with boots and let it be the highlight.

* Oversized coat: When worn with leggings, it gives a casual look. For something dressier, try with a pencil skirt. Pair it with bright shoes or a scarf.
