Atletico de Madrid's Fernando Torres suffered a muscle injury in the left hip and will be absent on Sunday's match against Osasuna, the team announced on Friday.
Atletico's medical team said the player underwent an MRI and will be subjected to specific workout in the coming two days, but did not determine his period of absence,reports Efe.
Besides Torres, coach Diego Simeone will also be missing Filipe Luis, Augusto Fernandez and Alessio Cerci due to injuries for Sunday's La Liga game.
