A 50-year-old man was gunned down by unidentified assailants inside his shop in Sohna town near here on Friday, prompting a protest by local people.
Pawan Garg, who deals in steel and iron at Sohna market, 26 km from here, received four bullets, police said.
"Four to five men came in a car and shot at Garg from point-blank range. The victim was rushed to a hospital but doctors declared him brought dead," a senior police officer told IANS.
The victim's younger brother Sanjay Garg, 47, was also shot dead on March 1.
Angry people disrupted traffic movement on the Gurgaon-Alwar road for hours and demanded immediate arrest of the people behind Garg's murder.
The victim's family suspect Surender alias Sunda of Haryana's Jhajjar district as the mastermind behind the killing.
