The Trinamool Congress Monday staged a walkout in the Lok Sabha seeking answers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the recovery of a diary concerning the Sahara group, which allegedly mentions the name of BJP president Amit Shah.
Trinamool MPs came near the speaker's podium, carrying a red-coloured diary which had "Sahara" written on it and raised slogans of "Narendra Modi jawab do".
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, however, proceeded with the question hour.
"They (Trinamool MPs) have decided not to follow the rules," she said.
After protesting for a few minutes, the Trinamool MPs staged a walkout.
On Sunday, Amit Shah made a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress at a rally in Kolkata and alleged that the involvement of Trinamool leaders led to the proliferation of the Saradha chit fund scam.
