Angry residents Sunday disrupted traffic and shouted slogans against police in Haryana's Gurgaon district after a truck crushed a man crossing the road, police said.
Delhi resident Rajender Kumar, 35, died on Sohna-Rewari road, 26 km from Gurgaon town.
"The body of the victim was badly crushed and dragged for nearly 50 meters," a witnesses said.
A mob blocked the road for over three hours. The driver of the truck was thrashed and handed over to police by furious residents.
