The Turkish parliament will launch a comprehensive probe into the July 15 coup attempt, a leader said on Tuesday.

"They attacked so many places but parliament was on the top of their list," Xinhua news agency quoted Naci Bostanci, deputy leader of the parliamentary group of the Justice and Development Party, as saying.

He also said that all the political parties represented in parliament submitted their own motions for establishing an investigation committee.

"We'll make the necessary talks next week and then form the committee," Bostanci said.
