Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal and a number of other organisations on Tuesday held a demonstration here to protest against alleged instigation of violence by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir and to express support for the Indian armed forces.

The demonstrators belonging to Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal, Gau Raksha Dal, Hindu Kranti Dal and several workers unions shouted slogans against Pakistan and demanded that the government deal with militancy in Kashmir valley with a firm hand.

They said Pakistan's sponsorship of terrorism in India and elsewhere should invite revocation of its membership of the United Nations.
