Two people have been arrested for their involvement in 64 cases of snatching, robbery and theft, police said on Friday.
Navin Dogra, 27, and Pramod Pal, 23, were arrested on October 3 from Palam while fleeing after snatching a gold chain from a woman residing in a nearby area.
"Dogra and Pal are notorious chain snatchers of west Delhi. With their arrest, we have solved 24 cases of snatching and robbery committed by them in Palam, Dwarka and Dabri areas," Deputy Commissioner of Police R.A. Sanjeev said.
The official said Dogra has committed 41 thefts, robberies and snatchings while Pal has been involved in 23 theft, snatching, robbery and attempt to murder cases.
"The duo had become a headache for public and for police department," the official said.
A jeweller, Ravi Kumar Soni, who was the receiver of stolen property, was also arrested after the accused revealed his name to police.
