Two boys drowned in a Gurgaon canal Monday, police said.
Five boys, in the age group 14-15 years, had gone for a bath in a canal in Basai-Dhankot village. Deepanshu and Vishnu, both students of class 8, drowned in the canal while bathing as they did not know how to swim.
"The two of them entered the canal and drowned within minutes," a senior police officer told IANS.
The bodies were recovered after an hour-long effort.
