Two students were killed and six others injured on Wednesday in Gonda in Uttar Pradesh when their school bus overturned, police said.
The injured were being treated at a local medical facility, and the condition of three is said to be serious, a police official said.
"The bus driver has been arrested for rash-driving and overspeeding and we have informed the families and school management," the official said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
