Two Congress MLAs in Bengal join Trinamool

In another blow to the Congress, two of its MLAs, Sankar Singha and Arindam Bhattacharya, on Wednesday joined the West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress.

Singha will officiate as the working president of Nadia District Trinamool Congress, party MP Abhisekh Bandopadhyay announced on Wednesday.

"Congress MLA Arindam Bhattacharya also joins Trinamool. Several Congress councillors and West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee members join Trinamool," said Bandopadhyay while handing over party flags to the new members.
