Two people were arrested here on Tuesday for allegedly gang-raping a woman whom one of them met on social networking site Facebook, Haryana Police said.
The arrested men have been identified as Ravinder alias Sonu, 25, and Santram, 30. Sonu hails from Palra village while Santram is from nearby Nurpur area.
The 24-year-old victim, a resident of Gurgaon, an industrial town in Haryana, lodged her complaint at Badshahpur police station on Tuesday.
"Sonu was my friend on Facebook for last few months. He called me on Monday for a meeting in Badshahpur and took me to a house in the nearby Palra village, where I was victimised," the woman said in her police complaint.
"Both the accused are married and self-employed. They have been arrested on charges of committing gang-rape," a senior police officer told IANS.
