Two hospital workers were killed in an apparent murder-suicide at a hospital in the American city Houston.
The shooting took place Wednesday afternoon at an out-patient pharmacy in Ben Taub General Hospital, Xinhua reported.
A male pharmacist came up to one of his colleagues, a woman he was allegedly pursuing, and shot her dead with a handgun. The murderer then turned the weapon on himself and committed suicide.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene after police arrived. The identities of both workers have not been released.
The pharmacy was not in the main part of the hospital. It was an attached building, accessible through a walkway. The incident had no impact on hospital operations.
