Two people were killed and one was injured in a shooting incident at a transportation company in west Houston, the US state of Texas early on Wednesday.
According to local TV station Khou, the shooting happened at the Knight Transportation company in west Houston around 8:45 am local time, Xinhua reported.
An ex-employee walked into the company and fatally shot one worker before killing himself.
Houston police have confirmed the incident, saying that the shooter was fired earlier in the morning but returned with a weapon and opened fire.
One other worker suffered injuries while fleeing the shooting and a deputy was injured as he ran into the building.
The company is near the Morton Ranch High School was on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown has now been lifted.
