At least two students were killed and over 35 injured Monday when a Haryana Roadways bus fell from a bridge into a rivulet, police said.

The accident occurred near Naraingarh, about 50 km from here. The bus was on its way to Ambala city.

Most of the passengers were students. The injured were rushed to hospitals in Naraingarh, Ambala and Chandigarh.

Police said the bus driver claimed he lost control of the vehicle after one of the tyres burst.
