Two terrorists were killed and one was apprehended in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Army said.
The operations took place in Barbugh village of Shopian on Saturday night. The terrorists had holed up inside a house there.
Army officials identified the apprehended terrorist as 17-year-old Adil Hussein Dar, a resident of village Chatarpura of Shopian. According to sources, Dar surrendered.
The operations had started around 5.30 p.m. on Saturday.
Northern Command of Indian Army said in a Tweet: "Two terrorists killed and one terrorist surrendered in Shopian. Weapons and Ammunition recovered."
One of the killed terrorists has been identified as Tariq Bhat of Barabug, Shopian. He belonged to the Hizbul Mujahideen.
