Two US trainers were shot dead in Jordan on Friday when their car failed to stop at an airbase, media reported.
There was firing at the airbase when the US trainers' car did not heed orders from Jordanian guards to stop at the gate, a Jordanian military source told Xinhua news agency.
A Jordanian officer was wounded in the incident, the source added.
The Jordanian army said investigations are under way.
