Quickie Andrew Tye will make a return to the Sydney Thunder squad in the Twenty20 Big Bash League (BBL), replacing Carl Sandri.
The BBL technical committee approved the change Tuesday. Tye, who was injured, was passed fit and will resume his place in the Thunder squad. Sandri will subsequently be removed from the 18-player squad.
Thunder play their next match against Brisbane Heat Wednesday.
