The toll from Typhoon Rammasun in the Philippines has risen to 54, with 100 injured and three still missing, the state disaster relief agency said Friday.

A total of 26,259 houses were damaged in the northern part of the country, Xinhua repoted.

Four provinces reported power interruption since July 15.

Metro Manila suffered power cuts due to inefficient supply.

Damages to infrastructures in the affected regions were estimated at 892 million pesos ($20.5 million), while cost of damages for agriculture came to 4.52 billion pesos ($101 million), the agency said.

Typhoon Rammasun made landfall in the eastern province of Albay Tuesday night, packing maximum sustained winds of 140 km per hour.
